Instructors and students will receive a reduced rate at the Elm Street Parking Garage (at the corner of Harwood and Elm Street). You must have a stamped ticket or a token for the reduced rate. Leaving the garage before 8:00 PM with a stamped ticket is $6.00. Get your parking ticket stamped in the UCD office or in the UCD lobby at the reception desk. Leaving the garage after 8:00 PM with a token is $3.00. You can purchase tokens at the UCD reception desk. The UCD accepts cash only. Purchase tokens at the reception desk. If the receptionist is not present, you must go to the UCD office and purchase from the secretary. Without the negotiated UCD rates, parking at the Elm Street Garage is $2.00 every 20 minutes, with a $12.00 daily max.
DART buses stop outside the front door of UCD at 1901 Main Street. The St. Paul light rail station is 2 1/2 blocks north of UCD on Harwood St. adjacent to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel.

Office hours are 8:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Saturday hours are 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A security guard is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on Fridays.
The computer labs are located in rooms 315 and 435. Hours are Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Friday and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the lab is closed on Sunday. Absolutely no food or drinks are allowed in the Computer Lab. There is also a Copy Machine located in the 4th floor lab. Copies are 10 cents a page.

Meningococcal Meningitis is a serious, potentially deadly disease that can progress rapidly. It is an inflammation of the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. The bacteria that causes meningitis can also infect the blood. This disease strikes about 3,000 Americans each year, including 100-125 on college campuses, leading to 5-15 deaths among college students every year. There is a treatment, but those who survive may develop severe health problems or disabilities.
